Privacy: what the chat stores
Aiamis has no accounts, asks for no contact details and sells nothing. A conversation still has to be processed to work, and this page lists what that involves.
What is stored when you chat

We do not store your IP address itself with the conversation, and the chat on this site does not send your browser details, the page you came from or any visitor tracking ID.
Who processes your messages
To write a reply, your message and the earlier messages in the same conversation are sent to an AI model provider. The chat service currently uses DeepSeek, with Alibaba Cloud's Qwen model as a fallback when DeepSeek is unavailable. Both are operated by companies based in China and process the text on their own servers under their own terms. Cloudflare hosts the website, the chat service and its database.
Because of this, please do not type anything you would not want a third-party service to process: passwords, card or bank numbers, identity numbers, your address, or private details about other people.
Who can read conversations
Conversations on Aiamis are not forwarded to staff and nobody reviews them as they happen. They sit in the database for up to 24 hours and are then deleted automatically. During that time the people who maintain the service have technical access to the database, as with any hosted service.
What is never collected
- No name, email address, phone number or account. Ami is instructed not to ask for them and not to act on them if you offer.
- No advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
- No payment details. There is nothing to pay for.
Visit counts
To see which pages are read, the site counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not identify you; we see totals such as page views, countries and device types.
Fonts and images
Fonts and images are served from this site. Your browser is not sent to any third-party font or image host. The helpline links on the crisis help page open the organisations' own websites.
Age
Aiamis is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly keep conversations with anyone younger; if someone says they are under 18, Ami ends the companion chat and the conversation is deleted on the same 24-hour schedule.
Your choices
Press "New chat" to clear the conversation from your browser at any time. Because conversations are not linked to an identity and are deleted within 24 hours, we usually cannot find a particular conversation to send or delete on request, but you can write to contact@aiamis.com with any privacy question.
